As part of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanese areas and Palestinian camps, an Israeli drone launched an attack this afternoon on the Cinema neighborhood in the Hittin neighborhood of the Ain al-Hilweh camp, south of Sidon. The drone fired two missiles at a building formerly occupied by the joint Palestinian security force, and had recently been rented to be used as a center to prepare food aids.
Reports indicated that the raid left two martyrs and several others injuries. The targeted building and surrounding structures sustained damage. Ambulances immediately arrived at the scene and moved the injured to hospitals in Sidon, which issued an urgent appeal for blood donations due to the severity of the injuries.
The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health announced in a statement that “the Israeli enemy’s attack on the Ain al-Hilweh camp resulted in the martyrdom of two people.”
