Gaza Strip witnessed a military escalation involving gunfire, artillery shelling, and an airstrike on Rafah, Khan Younis, and Gaza City. Reports indicate that Israeli military vehicles opened fire near the Morag crossing, north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli enemy warplanes also launched an airstrike east of Gaza City. Similarly, Israeli occupation military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, coinciding with Israeli artillery shelling targeting eastern areas of Gaza City. Rafah was also subjected to heavy Israeli artillery shelling.
The Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement through repeated military escalations, including artillery shelling, airstrikes, and gunfire in various parts of the Strip. This escalation is increasing the number of casualties and entrenching a fragile security situation, as the attacks persist, rendering the ceasefire agreement practically meaningless on the ground.
