A Palestinian young man was shot and injured near the separation wall in the northern Tulkarem area on Saturday evening, while several other civilians were either detained or assaulted by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in various parts of the West Bank.

The Red Crescent reported that its paramedics provided first aid to a young man who was shot in the foot by Israeli occupation forces in the village of Nazlat Issa, north of Tulkarem.

The wounded young man was transferred to a hospital, where his condition was described as moderate.

In Ramallah, Israeli enemy detained and assaulted a number of civilians in the village of Al-Mughayir.

Amin Abu Alia, head of the village council, said that the IOF raided a home and several shops, assaulting civilians inside and firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters at residents and their homes.

The IOF also kidnapped a Palestinian girl at a military checkpoint near the village of Yabrud, east of Ramallah.

Palestinian security sources said she is from the town of Al-Mazra‘ah Al-Sharqiya, though her identity has not yet been confirmed.

In Qalqilya, Israeli occupation forces disrupted residents’ movement after setting up a military checkpoint at the city’s eastern entrance. Vehicles were stopped and searched, while stun grenades and tear gas were fired in the area.

In a separate incident, a group of extremist Israeli settlers attacked a home in the village of Deir Ammar, west of the city.

Local sources said settlers attacked the house of Ali Jum‘ah in the western part of the village, with no injuries reported. The assault coincided with an Israeli military raid in the area.

In Jericho, a group of settlers attacked Palestinian civilians and their livestock in the Wadi Abu Al-Hayat area north of the city.

Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Human Rights Organization, said settlers continued for the second consecutive day to attack Palestinian farmland in Wadi Abu Al-Hayat, west of Al-Auja, adding that they released herds of cattle and sheep into the area to cause property damage.

Settlers also chased sheep belonging to a local resident in the west of Al-Auja town in Jericho.

In Bethlehem, settlers stormed areas east and south of the governorate, entering Al-Rashayida village and the area of Khalayel Al-Louz to graze sheep in villagers’ fields, causing extensive damage to crops.
