In the context of the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon, which is escalating in intensity, the Lebanese people have been shocked by the dangerous Zionist terrorist development that led to the abduction of Islamic Group official, Brother Atoui Atoui, from his home in Hasbaya, Member of Loyalty to Resistance Parliamentary Bloc said.
Additionally, there were two attacks on a car in the town of Yanouh and an attack on Aita al-Shaab, resulting in the martyrdom of four citizens, including a child, MP Hasan Ezzedine added in a statement.
“What happened are heinous terrorist crimes aimed at terrorizing civilians and the innocent in their villages, forcing them to flee, and preventing them from returning to their homes and properties.”
In light of these developments, MP Ezzedine emphasized the following:
- We stress the importance and unity of the Lebanese stance, which condemns this criminal act, and the unification of the popular and official positions, manifested by the presence of the state, government, and its institutions, standing alongside its people.
- We demand that the government take a firm, courageous, and bold stance in condemning this terrorist act, pursuing the aggressor in international forums and organizations, and punishing it for its crimes, putting an end to its arbitrary and unbridled aggression.
- We call on the government to utilize all its international and Arab relations, alliances, and friendships to pressure the enemy to withdraw from the land it occupies, and to employ effective diplomacy alongside Lebanon’s capabilities and resources to deter the enemy and protect sovereignty and independence.
- Our people reserve their right to defend their sovereignty, national security, and civil peace, and they are practicing a strategy of resilience, patience, and steadfastness, aware of the appropriate moment to respond to the enemy’s arrogance.
