Al-Manar’s correspondent reported that a delegation of Western ambassadors and military attachés met with Lebanese Army Commander General Rudolph Haykal at the Benoit Barakat Barracks in Tyre, the headquarters of the South Litani Sector.
The correspondent explained that the meeting was part of a field tour by the delegation, which is scheduled to include a resistance facility recently entered by the Lebanese Army in Wadi Zibqin, as well as the Lahlah border post.
This tour aims to brief the Western delegation on the Lebanese Army’s progress in implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1701, particularly in the area south of the Litani River.
