    Deadly Israeli Airstrikes Hit Southern Lebanon, Bekaa Amid Ongoing Sovereignty Violations

      Two individuals were martyred on Sunday as a result of Israeli occupation airstrikes targeting areas in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, in what constitutes a continued breach of Lebanese sovereignty amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.

      The Israeli enemy’s attacks on southern Lebanon have persisted, marking a clear continuation of repeated ceasefire violations, while no serious official action has been taken to curb these breaches.

      Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting the area between the towns of Kherbet Selm and Kfardounin, according to Al-Manar’s correspondent.

      In a statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said the Israeli enemy strike on the area between Kherbet Selm and Kfardounin in the Bint Jbeil District resulted in the martyrdom of one civilian and the injury of five others.

      In the Tyre district, an Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle on the Barish–Maaroub road. The Lebanese Health Ministry later confirmed the martyrdom of one individual.

      In a related incident, an enemy reconnaissance drone dropped a stun grenade on the town of Al-Dhahira in southern Lebanon earlier today, Al-Manar’s correspondent reported.

      Meanwhile, a newly established Israeli military position inside Lebanese territory in Wadi Hounin opened machine-gun fire toward the outskirts of the towns of Houla and Markaba, in what was described as a fresh field escalation added to the ongoing series of Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty.

      Al-Manar also reported that an Israeli hostile drone was found after crashing in the town of Kfar Kila.

      In the Bekaa region, Israeli aircraft carried out several airstrikes on the Shaara area.

      Additionally, a large number of towns across southern Lebanon witnessed intensive low-altitude drone activity throughout Sunday.

      More Attacks

      Later on Sunday evening, an Al-Manar correspondent reported that a newly established position inside Lebanese territory in Wadi Hounin opened fire with machine guns toward the outskirts of the towns of Houla and Markaba. Meanwhile, an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on the outskirts of Rab Thalathin.

      For the second time since the Lebanese army set up a new observation post in Khallet Al-Mahafer, south of Adaisseh, an Israeli Merkava tank crossed the border gate in the “Misgav Am” settlement and was positioned opposite the army post. In a separate incident, an Israeli drone dropped a bomb near Maroun Al-Ras Park.

      Also, Al-Manar correspondent reported that the Israeli artillery targets the outskirts of the town of Marwahin in south Lebanon.
