Israeli Attacks, Artillery Shelling Continue Across Southern Lebanon

Smoke rises after an Israeli strike on Jabal Al-Rafee in southern Lebanon (Saturday, September 26, 2026).

Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks across southern Lebanon on Saturday, in further violations of Lebanese sovereignty, UN Security Council Resolution 1701, and international law.

Al-Manar correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces have carried out a demolition operation in the southern Lebanese town of Taybe.

In Yatar, Israeli small attack drone dropped a stun grenade near farmers in the town, causing no injuries. Israeli occupation forces also fired flare bombs toward Kfar Tibnit and Haddatha.

Meanwhile, an Israeli force backed by bulldozers began constructing a road from the Sadana area toward the valley in the southern town of Shebaa, our correspondent reported.

On Saturday morning, Israeli artillery shelling targeted Khiam, the outskirts of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah, Mayfadoun, Al-Mansouri, and the outskirts of Qantara toward Al-Slouqi Valley. Occupation forces also conducted machine-gun sweeps toward Khiam, Kfar Tibnit, Haddatha, and Beit Yahoun.

Additional attacks included a demolition operation carried out by Israeli forces in Khiam, machine-gun fire toward Al-Hujeir Valley, and artillery shelling of Zibqin Valley.

The attacks followed further Israeli shelling on Friday evening of the area between Haris and Haddatha, along the Zawtar River, and on the outskirts of Barashit.
