Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale military operation across Al-Khalil (Hebron) in the southern occupied West Bank overnight and at dawn Saturday, following a shooting operation a day earlier that killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded four others.
The campaign involved raids on Palestinian homes, demolitions, forced evacuations, and sweeping movement restrictions, the Palestinian Information Center reported, citing local sources. It added that the operation could continue for several days.
A large number of Israeli troops, backed by bulldozers, stormed several neighborhoods across the city, raiding homes and demolishing structures, according to local sources.

Israeli forces also forced Palestinian families to evacuate their homes, particularly in the Jalda area, while subjecting residents to searches and interrogations.
The occupation forces further closed roads and main entrances throughout All-Khalil and surrounding areas, imposing additional military measures that severely restricted residents’ movement.
