Hezbollah hailed as heroic the shooting operation in West Bank’s Al-Khalil (Hebron), stressing that it is a “legitimate response to Israeli crimes.”

“Hezbollah hails the shooting operation carried out by Hamouda and Firas Al-Ja’ba at the Farsh Al-Hawa checkpoint in Al-Khalil, which left several Israeli occupation forces dead and wounded, describing it as a response to Israel’s continued crimes against the Palestinian people,” it said in a statement released by the Lebanese resistance group’s Media Relations Office.

Hezbollah described the shooting operation as a “natural and legitimate response to Israeli enemy’s ongoing crimes, including killings, genocide, destruction, and attacks on holy sites,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, it condemned ongoing Israeli settlement expansion, demolitions, and land confiscations in the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds (Jerusalem), saying these measures aim to displace Palestinians and uproot them from their land.

The Lebanese resistance group stressed that the Palestinian people would not abandon their land, holy sites, or legitimate rights despite continued Israeli assaults.

“The Palestinian people will remain committed to their rights and continue the path of resistance until their land is liberated, regardless of the sacrifices and costs,” the statement said.

Hezbollah also extended its condolences to the families of Hamouda and Firas Al-Ja’ba and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, voicing confidence that Israeli attempts to break their will and force them into submission would fail.

Such efforts, it said, would be defeated by the Palestinians’ steadfastness, resilience, sacrifices, and determination to uphold their rights and reject injustice and tyranny.
