Private sources in Taiz told Al-Manar’s correspondent that Saudi-backed forces are using schools, institutes, and government buildings as headquarters and weapons depots, entrenching their presence inside civilian service facilities.
The sources also dismissed Saudi media reports claiming that the Yemeni Armed Forces had bombed homes belonging to Saudi-backed commanders in Taiz as “complete fabrication.”
They asserted that it was the Saudi-led coalition’s airstrikes that had targeted numerous homes and mosques across the province, adding that such attacks were continuing.
