Israeli Attacks, Shelling Target Several Areas in Southern Lebanon

Smoke rises after Israeli strike on Al-Hamra area between Zawtar Al-Sharqiya and Kfar Tibnit in southern Lebanon (Wednesday, October 21, 2026).

A series of Israeli attacks, including artillery shelling, airstrikes, and machine-gun fire, targeted several areas in southern Lebanon from midnight until Wednesday morning, Al-Manar correspondents reported.

Artillery shells struck the outskirts of Kfar Tebnit, Wadi Zibqin, Al-Hujair Valley, Al-Slouqi Valley and Maifadoun, as well as Al-Mansouri, Khiam, and Kfar Shouba.

Israeli airstrikes also targeted Kfar Tebnit and the Al-Hamra area of Zawtar Al-Sharqiya.

Our correspondent also reported movement by Israeli occupation forces in Zawtar Al-Sharqiya

Meanwhile, machine-gun fire was directed toward Sribbin and Khiam, coinciding with the artillery shelling in the area.

Israeli attacks and military operations in southern Lebanon have continued on a daily basis despite ceasefire arrangements. Beyond causing casualties, Israeli attacks and the continued occupation of Lebanese territory have displaced civilians from border areas and disrupted daily life across several parts of southern Lebanon.
