Iranian General Hits Back at Trump: Names of Bombs Don’t Matter, Our Missiles Changed Equations

Iranian Caretaker Defense Minister Brigadier General Majid Ibn Al-Reza hit back at US President Donald Trump’s threats against Iran, warning that American bombs will exact a price on Washington’s global standing, economy and electoral calculations.

In a post on his X account, General Ibn al-Reza responded to speculation about the possible use of US’ so-called “mother of all bombs” against Iran, dismissing the significance of the weapons’ names and destructive power and stressing that Iran’s missile capabilities have changed the equations.

“The names and dimensions of bombs do not matter!” he wrote in Persian.

“Your bombs will explode somewhere else: in your global standing, the US economy, and even your electoral calculations!” the Iranian general reminded the US.

“It is our missile power that has changed the equations and brought you to the point where, from now on, you must say: ‘Yes, sir!’” the general said, addressing the US officials.

His remarks came after US President Donald Trump threatened to use “mother of all bombs” on Iran.

Trump’s threats came as Washington faces domestic political pressure over the war and questions about whether further strikes could achieve its strategic objectives.
