Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree on Thursday categorically denied carrying out any military operation targeting Saudi territory, describing Riyadh’s claims of an attack on the holy city of Medina as a “blatant and grave falsehood.”
“The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that they did not carry out any targeting operations towards Saudi territory today,” Brig. Gen. Saree said in a statement.
He further denounced “the Saudi enemy’s blatant and grave falsehood” regarding the alleged targeting of Medina.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly stated that the holy cities of Mecca and Medina are exempt from their targeting operations, stressing that their military actions do not include the two Islamic holy sites.
The latest denial reiterates this position, rejecting Saudi claims of an attack on Medina and reaffirming the Yemeni Armed Forces’ stated distinction between their military operations and the holy cities.
