Hezbollah in Lebanon has issued a statement affirming that “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” has revealed the greatness of the Palestinian people, the strength of their will, and the solidity of their steadfastness in the face of the Israeli killing machine.
The statement noted that the operation has exposed the true face of the criminal and savage Zionist entity backed by the American enemy and the forces of global arrogance. It has also laid bare the falsity of the international community’s and its institutions’ claims regarding the defense of freedom and justice, revealing their inability to protect even the most basic human rights. Furthermore, it has unmasked the defeatists and accomplices who chose silence in the face of the most heinous crimes, massacres, and genocide committed against a people who chose to resist their occupier and struggle for their freedom, dignity, and the reclamation of their land and rights.
Hezbollah, committed to the justice of the Palestinian cause and unwavering in its support for its resisting and oppressed people, reiterated its vehement condemnation of the Zionist genocide, which exposes the hollowness of the international community’s values. The party held the US administration and Western nations accountable for their silence regarding Zionist crimes whether acts of genocide or crimes against humanity.
The statement also called upon the peoples of the world to rise up to protect human rights, uphold justice, and prevent the powerful from dictating the terms and application of international law.
Hezbollah earnestly prayed to God Almighty to accept the sacrifices made by the leaders, mujahideen, and heroic martyrs of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and all other resistance factions. It also prayed that He grants the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, and all of Palestine the strength to remain steadfast and united in purpose, thereby thwarting the objectives of the scheme targeting the Palestinian cause and its people.
The party urged these resistance factions to stand firm and remain cohesive in their vision and stance against the agenda of the enemy, its backers, and its accomplices.
Furthermore, Hezbollah warned the region’s rulers that silence, appeasement, and pandering to the enemy and its allies will only serve to undermine their own authority, weaken them, and empower the enemy to dictate the future of their countries and peoples.
The statement concluded by declaring that circumstances are not immutable fates beyond change; when the will of the people effectively harnesses the drivers of transformation, it remains capable of shaping the present and forging the future.
It cited the Quranic verse: “And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned; and the outcome is for the righteous.”
