The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that more than 200 personnel from Saudi-backed military build-ups were killed or wounded in recent hours, as dozens of strikes pounded their movements in Ras al-Arah and Al-Saqiya.

Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the military had launched dozens of strikes in recent hours, “targeting the enemy Saudi forces’ military build-ups east of Al-Jawf Governorate, resulting in large numbers of fatalities and injuries, as well as the destruction by fire of a number of military vehicles.”

He added that the armed forces had “conducted targeting operations against the enemy Saudi forces’ military build-ups east of Ragwan in Marib Governorate,” inflicting further casualties and destroying several vehicles.

Saudi-Backed Forces Accused of Promoting ‘Illusory Victories’

The spokesperson affirmed that operations would continue against “the enemy Saudi forces’ military build-ups in the remaining districts of Taiz Governorate,” citing widespread disarray among those forces and the flight of a number of their personnel.

The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized that they had “fully consolidated their control over all their battlefield gains,” accusing the opposing side of promoting “illusory victories intended to satisfy its masters.” Such claims, they said, form part of tactics the Yemeni people know well—whether on the western coast or elsewhere.
