Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said Yemeni forces repelled and targeted Saudi reinforcements in eastern Al-Jawf after attempts to advance in the area failed.
In a statement, Brig. Gen. Saree said the operation “resulted in the destruction of a large number of vehicles belonging to the Saudi reinforcements and the killing and wounding of dozens of personnel.”
He added that Yemeni forces pursued and captured the remaining personnel in the Al-Jawf desert, while targeting Saudi gatherings with ballistic missiles and drones.
تمكنت قواتنا المسلحة _بفضل الله تعالى_ من طرد واستهداف تحشيدات العدو السعودي من شرقي الجوف إثر محاولات فاشلة للتقدم باتجاه مواقع قواتنا المسلحة ونتج عن عملية الاستهداف والطرد ما يلي: -إحراق عدد كبير من الآليات التابعة لتحشيدات العدو السعودي. -مصرع وإصابة العشرات من تلك التحشيدات. -ملاحقة ومطاردة من تبقى منهم في صحراء الجوف. -استهداف تجمعات تلك التحشيدات بعدد من الصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيّرة. التحية لأبناء الجوف ومأرب وهم يقفون موقف الحق مع شعبهم وبلدهم، يقفون إلى جانب قواتهم المسلحة في التصدي الفعال والمؤثر للعدو فأفشلوا _بعون الله_ تحركاته وكسروا بفضل الله زحوفاته فهزموا أدواته ونكلوا بعملائه وأسقطوا خططه وأهدافه ودفنوا في الصحارى والأودية أحلامه وطموحاته وأمانيه .. وهذا هو اليمن الحر العزيز.

The Yemeni military spokesman saluted the people of Al-Jawf and Ma’rib, praising their support for the Yemeni Armed Forces and their role in confronting what he described as enemy advances.
“With God’s help, our forces thwarted Saudi enemy’s movements, broke its advances, defeated its proxies, punished its agents, and foiled its plans and objectives,” Brig. Gen. Saree said.
He added that the Yemeni forces and local population had “buried Saudi dreams, ambitions, and aspirations in the deserts and valleys,” concluding: “This is free and proud Yemen.”
