Israeli settlers, backed by Israeli occupation forces, launched attacks on Palestinian homes and olive harvesters across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

In Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, settlers targeted homes south of the village and seized a vehicle, while Israeli occupation forces raided the outskirts of the area.

In Beita, south of Nablus, settlers assaulted Palestinians harvesting olives in the Jabal al-Arma area and opened fire with live ammunition, according to local sources cited by WAFA. At least one Palestinian farmer was injured in the attack.

The violence coincides with the start of the annual olive harvest a critical economic and cultural season for Palestinian communities. WAFA separately reported that three Palestinians were injured in settler attacks on olive harvesters across the Nablus governorate on Friday.

Israeli occupation forces also deployed stun grenades and tear gas against Palestinian farmers and foreign solidarity activists in the Nablus area, according to the report.

The attacks mark the latest in a series of incidents targeting Palestinian agricultural workers and villages during the harvest period.
