The occupied West Bank witnessed a fresh wave of Israeli military and settler attacks on Friday, including shootings, arrests, and assaults by settlers, alongside road closures, checkpoints, and raids across several areas.

In Kobar, north of Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces opened fire on two young men and arrested them after one was wounded, alleging that he had thrown a Molotov cocktail. The forces also raided the town and fired in the area.

In al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, an armed Israeli settler opened fire while grazing livestock on Palestinian-owned land, while armed settlers carried out provocative patrols around homes.

Settlers also attacked a group of Palestinians and their vehicles in Yabrud, east of Ramallah, closed a road in Al-Bireh and raised Israeli flags. Israeli forces, meanwhile, closed the Atara and Ein Sinya checkpoints north of Ramallah.

In Nablus, an armed settler blocked the road between Nablus and Asira al-Shamaliya, while Israeli forces opened fire in the Officers’ Quarter of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, and prevented an ambulance from reaching the area.

The attacks also extended to Aqraba, where a 62-year-old Palestinian man was injured after Israeli soldiers severely beat him. He was taken to the hospital.

In Tarqumiyah, west of Hebron, Palestinians suffered suffocation after Israeli forces fired tear gas at a wedding hall.

Israeli forces also raided the Solomon’s Pools area south of Bethlehem.

In Jenin, Palestinian resident Mohammad Abdel Karim Turkman was arrested in the town of Zababdeh. Israeli forces also carried out an arrest campaign targeting several workers in Bartaa, southwest of Jenin, located inside the separation barrier.

The attacks come amid continued restrictions on Palestinian movement across the occupied West Bank, including checkpoints, roadblocks, gates, and other measures that impede residents’ movement.
