IRGC Quds Force’s Qaani: New Hezbollah Generation Won’t Let ‘Israel’ Off the Hook

Commander of Iran’s IRGC Quds Force Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani praised the resolve of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement in confronting the Israeli enemy, stressing that its new generation of fighters has continued to inflict losses on Israeli forces despite the martyrdom of its senior leaders.

Speaking at a gathering in Tehran, Qaani said Hezbollah fighters had targeted 20 Israeli enemy tanks in a single night in one Lebanese village.

He stressed that the resistance has maintained its fight despite the martyrdom of secretary generals Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, and nearly all of Hezbollah’s first-tier commanders.

Qaani said Hezbollah’s “heroic brothers” and its new generation of resistance fighters had continued confronting Israeli forces, resulting in 373 Israeli tanks and armored personnel carriers being targeted during this period.

He added that at least one-third of the targeted vehicles were destroyed, while another third sustained damage and were forced out of the battlefield.

“The fighters of the new generation of Hezbollah will not let Israel off,” Qaani stressed.
