At least four people, including a Lebanese soldier, were injured on Wednesday in an Israeli strike targeting an army vehicle in southern Lebanon, according to official sources.
Al-Manar correspondent in southern Lebanon reported the strike by an Israeli drone on Nabatieh Al-Fawqah. Casualties were reported including an army soldier, according to our correspondent.
The Lebanese Army then issued a statement confirming the Israeli strike and casualties.

“A soldier was seriously injured as a result of an Israeli hostile attack on an army vehicle, in addition to the injury of 3 civilians, in the Nabatieh al-Fawqa area,” read the Lebanese Army’s statement posted on X account.
The strike on Nabatieh Al-Fawqa followed a series of Israeli attacks in several areas across southern Lebanon.
Al-Manar correspondent in southern Lebanon reported three Israeli strikes on Al-Mansouri, with Israeli Apache helicopters being spotted over the area at the time.

An Israeli demolition operation was also reported in the town of Ayta Al-Jabal, near Beit Yahoun, according to our reporter.

Meanwhile, an Israeli force advanced towards the western outskirts of Mais Al-Jabal, with Israeli occupation soldiers were seen torching properties in the area, our correspondent reported.

Israeli occupation forces have continued airstrikes, artillery fire, ground operations and airspace violations in southern Lebanon on daily basis, despite the November 2024 cessation-of-hostilities agreement.
The UN has reported hundreds of Israeli projectiles and dozens of daily airspace violations, while Israeli forces continue to occupy positions in parts of Lebanese territory.
Since March 2, 2026, Israeli attacks have killed at least 4,386 people, injured 12,407 and displaced more than 1 million others, according to Lebanese Health Ministry.
