The Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during his meeting with the Pakistani Interior Minister Sayyed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, said that Iran and Pakistan are regional powers possessing immense potential; by combining these capabilities, we can meet many of our needs.
We hope to strengthen Iran-Pakistan relations by expanding joint investments and facilitating economic cooperation, he added.
“US actions and pressures have paved the way for greater rapprochement and sustained interaction among Islamic nations.”
Pakistani Interior Minister Naqvi also stated: “We believe that Iran-Pakistan relations have never been at the high level we are witnessing today.”
Pakistan’s Interior Minister has arrived in Tehran, Iran’s capital, for talks with Iranian officials.
Naqvi arrived in Tehran on Monday and was welcomed by Iran’s Interior Minister, Eskandar Momeni.
Momeni and Naqvi emphasized finalizing agreements to expand bilateral relations. The visit aims to discuss bilateral relations and review agreements signed by officials from both countries.
