Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, affirmed that the victories achieved—with the help of God—come within the framework of the Yemenis’ just cause.
In a speech addressing the latest developments, Sayyed Houthi stated that the Yemeni people are confronting ongoing aggression and an unjust blockade as the conflict enters its 12th year, executed by the Saudi regime under U.S. supervision and Israeli backing.
Sayyed Houthi noted that during the de-escalation period, the Saudi regime did not take serious steps toward peace, but instead used it as an opportunity to tighten arbitrary measures and build takfiri military formations.
Houthi emphasized that they are in a position of self-defense and did not initiate hostilities, pointing out that the latest escalation began with the bombing of Sanaa Airport, with the opposing side initiating aggression across all stages without justification.
The Yemeni leader highlighted that the coalition has targeted civilians in their homes, markets, schools, and hospitals since 2015, impacting over 2,000 mosques, historical landmarks, and even a center for the blind in Sanaa.
Sayyed Houthi pointed out that the blockade remains a critical issue due to airport closures and restrictions on imported goods, severe impacts on public sector salaries, and limited access to essential food and chronic disease medication.
Houthi refuted claims that Yemeni forces targeted Mecca, describing these assertions as a complete falsehood and slander.
