During the parliamentary session dedicated to questioning the government, MP Hussein Hajj Hasan criticized the government’s performance.
MP Hajj Hasan stressed that the Prime Minister should present the results achieved in detail rather than simply reciting the ministerial statement again, and questioned what had been accomplished regarding issues of sovereignty, the economy, and public services.
Regarding the “framework agreement,” Hajj Hasan stated that the “zero results” speak for themselves.
He further contended that there is no political decision to defend Lebanon and that arming the army is—in his view—contingent upon American approval, noting that the condition imposed is to fight the Resistance and prevent any confrontation with the enemy.
