Israeli Enemy Forces Seize Three Syrians in Quneitra Home Raids, Shell Farmland Near Damascus

Israeli enemy forces detained three people in separate incursions into the Quneitra countryside and shelled agricultural land in the Damascus countryside, the latest in a series of military operations across southern Syria.

An Israeli military force consisting of six vehicles made an incursion into the town of Al-Hamidiyah in the Quneitra countryside, raiding and searching a home before taking a young man into custody. It remains unknown whether he was transferred to the newly established military base near the town or taken into occupied territory.

Earlier, Israeli enemy forces had entered the town of Al-Rafid in the southern Quneitra countryside, where they raided and searched a house, detained a man and his son, and took them into occupied territory. No further information has emerged regarding their fate or the reasons for their detention.

The arrests come amid ongoing Israeli incursions into southern Syria accompanied by raids, searches, and the detention of local residents with no explanation offered for the arrests or the status of the detainees. The operations coincide with Israel’s continued reinforcement of its military presence in parts of the Quneitra countryside.

Also on Friday, Israeli forces fired an artillery shell into Syrian territory, striking agricultural land west of the town of Beit Jinn in the western Damascus countryside.

In a related development, Israeli enemy forces opened heavy machine-gun fire after midnight (Thursday-Friday) toward residential neighborhoods in the village of Ma’ariya in the Daraa countryside, coinciding with intensive drone activity over the area.
