Rezaei: US, Israeli Handprints All Over IAEA’s Anti-Iran Resolution

Mohsen Rezaei Appointed Sayyed Khamenei’s Representative, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary (August) 9, 2026)

The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has lashed out at the IAEA Board of Governors over its latest anti-Iran resolution, saying it bears the unmistakable fingerprints of US and Israeli pressure.

In a post on his X account, Major General Rezaei described the resolution as “illegal, non-technical, entirely political, and unacceptable,” warning that it carries “the clear imprint of US and Zionist pressure.”

Rezaei further cautioned that the Agency’s “destructive and political actions” would push countries toward withdrawing from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

His remarks underscore Tehran’s mounting frustration with the UN nuclear watchdog and its member states, signaling potential escalation in Iran’s nuclear diplomacy.
