The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced a phone call between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, during which they exchanged views and discussed the latest developments in the region. The call addressed rising tensions and growing instability in the region.
In addition, the Iranian Foreign Minister spoke by phone with the Pakistan Army Chief. During the call, both sides discussed the latest developments in the region, as well as the escalation of tensions, increasing instability, and their repercussions on regional peace and stability.
Both sides also emphasized the need for vigilance and coordination among countries in the region in facing current developments, and for utilizing joint capabilities to help establish lasting peace and security in the region.
