Hezbollah Media Relations issued a statement that warns the public against dealing with statements issued by unofficial sources as credible.
The statement stressed that Hezbollah issues its positions on various events and developments through the speeches of His Eminence the Secretary-General, and through official statements issued by Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance, the Media Relations, and the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc.
What follows is the full text of Hezbollah Media Relations statement:
“Many public figures and friends make statements, share information, and data on media outlets and social media platforms. Some of these relate to issues and events connected to Hezbollah or the Islamic Resistance. The general public often deals with those statements and that information as if they were issued by official sources of the Party or the Resistance.
Every individual has the right, on any media outlet or platform, to share information in their own name, and they are the ones responsible for it. The public must be careful not to treat that information as if it were official.
Hezbollah issues its positions on various events and developments through the speeches of His Eminence the Secretary-General, and through official statements issued by Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance, the Media Relations, and the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc. Anything other than that only expresses the opinion of its owners.
We thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation in this matter, in order to prevent any misinterpretation or confusion, especially during this sensitive and critical stage.”
