The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Tuesday a “qualitative and extensive military operation” targeting Aramco facilities in Abha, Najran, the Economic City and Jizan, as well as Khamis Mushait Air Base.
Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the attacks involved dozens of ballistic missiles and drones, noting that the strikes were precise and direct and caused significant damage to the targeted facilities.
The operation came in response to major Saudi escalation against Yemen, Brig. Gen. Saree said, adding that Saudi forces had launched 121 airstrikes over the past three days from King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait and King Fahd Air Base in Taif.

According to the spokesman, the Saudi strikes targeted Ma’rib, Al-Bayda, Al-Hodeidah, Taiz and Al-Jawf, culminating in the “Al-Jawf massacre,” which he said killed a large number of inmates at the central prison in Al-Hazm, including women and children visiting prisoners.
Saree said the Yemeni Armed Forces were responding to “comprehensive escalation with a comprehensive escalation,” holding Saudi Arabia responsible for the renewed attacks.
“Every attack on our country and our people will be met with a decisive response,” he said, warning that Yemen would launch “even stronger and more extensive strikes” against Saudi targets if the attacks continued.
The spokesperson said Saudi troop movements, attacks and military buildups would not intimidate Yemen or weaken the resolve of its people.

He further vowed that Yemeni forces would continue operations “deep inside Saudi Arabia,” targeting troop concentrations and maintaining what he called the “siege for siege” equation until the aggression ends and the blockade on Yemen is lifted.
