Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf warned the United States on Sunday that that the rules of its conflict with the Islamic Republic have changed.

In remarks carried by Iranian media, Ghalibaf said “the recent strikes we inflicted on the invaders’ bases are merely the beginning,” warning: “If the US has yet to understand this, it must realize before it’s too late that the rules of the game have completely changed.”

“The Americans must have understood that the era of ‘proportionate responses’ is over,” Ghalibaf said.

“From now on, any aggression against Iran’s interests and security will receive a faster, heavier and more painful response.”

Ghalibaf also accused Washington of using artificial intelligence to produce battlefield images and videos while facing setbacks in the conflict.

“US leaders, desperate amid the damage to their military bases from Iran’s powerful strikes, are fabricating fake images and videos using artificial intelligence (AI) to manipulate the battlefield situation, while spouting empty rhetoric and slogans.”

The Iranian speaker was apparently referring to US President Donald Trump’s recent AI-generated video claiming that Kharg Island, Iran’s key oil production hub, had been “shattered into pieces.”

Ghalibaf emphasized that “the two critical tools against the enemy are internal unity and external deterrence,” and added: “The Supreme Leader’s advice to avoid portraying ourselves as weak must be applied as a strategic guideline across all sectors.”

“Our people, who have steadfastly withstood the bloodthirsty U.S., are enduring economic hardships such as exchange rate fluctuations and inflation,” and urged, “As the enemy tightens sanctions to paralyze supply chains and the energy sector, we must build a barrier to block foreign greed by relying on domestic production,” he added.
