The Israeli occupation forces launched a raid and arrest campaign at dawn today, Saturday, in various areas of the occupied Palestinian West Bank. The campaign included an assault on a citizen, road closures, and the firing of live ammunition and sound bombs, coinciding with settler attacks on agricultural lands.
In this context, Palestinian sources reported that “in the city of Jenin, occupation forces arrested the young man Nasser al-Saadi during a raid on the Eastern Neighborhood, while they arrested the young man Adwan al-Karouzo and his mother during a raid on the Arab American University dorms area.”
The sources continued: “In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, occupation forces closed the sole entrance to the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, hindering the movement of citizens to and from the village. They also assaulted the young man Khaled Ghneimat during a raid on his home in the town of Kafr Malik, causing him to suffer hand fractures.”
The sources added that “in the Tubas Governorate, the occupation army stormed the town of Tammun, south of the governorate, and raided a home, coinciding with other forces storming the Wadi al-Far’a area south of Tubas.” They added: ‘In the Qalandia camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, occupation forces fired live bullets and sound bombs during a raid on the camp, amid a military deployment in its streets.’
In a related context, the sources stated that ‘settlers invaded citizens’ lands in the Khalayel al-Lauz area, south of Bethlehem, and began destroying crops and tampering with farmers’ property, causing damage to the crops.
