Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said that the foundation and essence of these struggles lie in the “war of right against wrong and confrontation with arrogance,” noting that the spirit of resistance has taken shape in new forms throughout the past 50 years.
“We do not reject negotiations, but negotiations are a tool of struggle. If we ever stop fighting the United States and the Israeli regime in its various forms, that will be the day of defeat,” Ghalibaf asserted.
During a meeting with a Hamas communications official, Qalibaf said that in the first article of the memorandum of understanding, Iran stipulated an end to their war against Iran and its allies on the resistance front, while the other side initially called for a complete halt to missile and nuclear activities and resistance in its 15-article text.
Qalibaf stressed that “our path must remain on a fundamental course, and we must preserve the resistance front to continue the war for the sake of right.”
“Today, even governments in the region that are friendly toward America acknowledge that this country is causing insecurity in the region,” he added.
Referring to the Americans’ failure to honor the provisions of the memorandum of understanding with Islamabad, Qalibaf stated that the Americans must fulfill their commitments so that Iranians can move forward with reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Brig. Gen. Izadi, deputy commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said US military commanders, who regard themselves as the world’s greatest military power, are now openly acknowledging their inability to confront the strategies and steadfastness of the Islamic Republic, adding that plans they had developed over several decades have collapsed.
He said the scope of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ responsibilities is extremely broad and that “this blessed tree” has opened up the peaks of achievement in modern defense fields.
“Today, in the production of highly advanced and cutting-edge unmanned aerial vehicles and missile capabilities, we have production capacity that exceeds our defense needs by several times the number of targets we have fired upon the enemy,” he said.
He concluded, noting that the country’s modern air-defense systems continue to advance and are at the height of their strength and development.
