The Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched on Monday retaliatory strikes targeting US bases in UAE and Jordan in response to US aggression on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Iranian Army announced it has launched dozens of destructive drones at the locations of US helicopters and forces stationed at the Al Minhad airbase in the United Arab Emirates in retaliation for the martyrdom of Iranian military personnel and civilians on Larak Island.
“From early Monday morning, in response to the recent aggression by the aggressor enemy and in retaliation for the martyrdom of the brave personnel of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps and innocent Iranian compatriots on Larak Island, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army targeted the locations of the helicopters and forces of the child-killing US military at the Al Minhad base in the UAE by launching dozens of attack drones,” a statement by the Iranian Army read.

Iran’s regular army says it launched dozens of attack drones early Monday at Al Minhad Air Base, south of Dubai, targeting areas where U.S. forces and helicopters are stationed, according to Nournews.

The Iranian Army noted that the Al Minhad base is one of the important centers for the support and aerial transportation of foreign forces.
“The combatants of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army are standing to ensure lasting security and safeguard the territory of Islamic Iran until the enemy threat is removed from the region, and they will avenge the blood of all the martyrs of the imposed war from the American terrorist forces,” the statement warned.
IRGC Strike on US Bases in Jordan
For its part, the IRGC struck technical and maintenance infrastructure and the fighter jet bases at King Hussein and Al-Azraq airbases in Jordan.
“A few minutes ago, the zealous fighters of the IRGC Aerospace Force, in response to the American-Zionist enemy’s aerial aggression on Lark Island, launched a combined missile and drone operation codenamed Muhammad ibn Abdullah (PBUH) to destroy the technical and maintenance infrastructure and the enemy fighter jet bases at the two American air bases, King Hussein and Al-Azraq, in Jordan, causing significant damage,” a statement released by the IRGC Public Relations Department read.
In retaliation for the American-Zionist air strike on Larak Island, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched a punitive counteroffensive early on Monday.

The IRGC warned that aggression and crime will not solve the enemy’s desperation and inability to weaken the Islamic Republic’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, and every shot by the enemy will be met with more devastating responses.
Larak Island lies in the Strait of Hormuz, a strategically vital waterway through which a major share of global energy shipments passes. Iranian authorities have repeatedly stressed that the security and control of the waterway constitute a matter of national security and that foreign powers will not be allowed to dictate terms regarding its operation.
Earlier today, U.S. forces struck two Iranian launchers on Larak Island that were allegedly preparing to launch missiles carrying naval mines into the Strait of Hormuz.
