Israeli Occupation Proceeds with Southern Lebanon Attacks

Israeli occupation forces intensified their attacks on southern Lebanon overnight and into Saturday, carrying out airstrikes, heavy artillery fire and extensive demolitions across several areas.

An Israeli bombing targeted the area between Arnoun and Kfar Tebnit, triggering a powerful explosion heard across several southern towns.

Israeli occupation forces also bombed the town of Mays Al-Jabal.

Meanwhile, heavy artillery shelling of Mansouri, the vicinity of Byout Al-Seyyad and the outskirts of Majdal Zoun, where Israeli forces also carried out extensive explosions overnight.

Homes in Byout Al-Seyyad were extensively destroyed, with no house in the town was left undamaged.

Similar explosions were reported in Hadatha, Beit Yahoun and Aita Al-Jabal, while Israeli occupation forces also opened machine-gun fire toward nearby valleys.

Israeli warplanes conducted two airstrikes around 6:45 a.m. local time on Ali Al-Taher Hill, north of Nabatieh Al-Fawqa.

Israeli artillery meanwhile shelled the outskirts of Dawhat Kfar Remman, the vicinity of Dabsha Hill and the wooded area of Ali Al-Taher throughout the night and into Saturday morning, using phosphorus shells.

Israeli drones continued intensive flights over towns and villages across southern Lebanon’s western and central sectors.
