The Israeli occupation escalated its raids and arrests across the West Bank, detaining 28 Palestinians in pre-dawn operations that swept through multiple cities and towns, during which occupation forces fired live ammunition.
Among those arrested were the fathers of martyrs in Qalqilya, alongside young men rounded up in Jenin, Tulkarm, Hebron, al-Bireh, and Salfit. Occupation forces also stormed a number of villages and refugee camps, bringing the total number of arrests since October 7, 2023, to over 25,000.
Homes Seized, Families Forced Out in Ya’bad
In a particularly aggressive move, occupation forces stormed several towns in Tulkarm, Hebron, and Jenin, and forced three families in the town of Ya’bad to evacuate a residential building before converting it into a military barracks—a tactic that rights groups have long condemned as collective punishment.
Settler Attacks Intensify Under Military Protection
Meanwhile, settlers intensified their attacks on Palestinians and their property, pelting Palestinian vehicles with stones in Kafr Laqif, while a Palestinian was wounded by settler gunfire in the village of al-Minya, south of Bethlehem.
Clashes continue in the town of Taybeh, east of Ramallah, where residents are confronting settler attacks. In a stark illustration of the coordinated nature of the aggression, extremist settlers—operating under the protection of Israeli occupation forces—attacked the home and farm of the Jabarin family in al-Minya, east of Bethlehem.
Jabarin Family Targeted: Three Sons Detained
The family confirmed that occupation forces detained and arrested three of their sons during the assault. As occupation forces and settlers continue their attacks on Palestinians across various areas of the West Bank, the daily reality of displacement, injury, and mass incarceration deepens with no end in sight.
