Lebanese Army Reiterates Israeli Attacks Hindering Its Missions in South Lebanon

The Lebanese Army issued on Wednesday a statement to reiterate that its military units continue their operation in the South, yet face significant difficulties as a result of the Israeli attacks.

The statement reported that the Israeli enemy bombed the municipality building in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Nabatieh, in addition to the public school, clinic, kindergarten, and several homes in the town.

This confirms the occupation’s continued destructive approach aimed at inflicting maximum damage on southern villages and towns and preventing the establishment of stability, according to the Army statement.

“The Israeli occupation forces continue their attacks and violations of existing agreements and international law, most recently bombing the municipality building in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Nabatieh, in addition to the public school, clinic, kindergarten, and several homes in the town. This confirms the occupation’s continued destructive approach aimed at inflicting maximum damage on southern villages and towns and preventing the establishment of stability.”

“Meanwhile, the army continues its operations in the south, facing significant difficulties as a result of these attacks, which hinder its full deployment and the return of residents.”
