Iran’s Guard Commander Vows Decisive Response to Any Aggression

The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Ground Forces, Brigadier General Mohammad Karami, affirmed that his country is facing a complex and comprehensive war with the enemy, encompassing economic, social, cultural, political, and cyber dimensions, in addition to security and defense aspects.

Brigadier General Karami emphasized that the enemy must understand that the Iranian armed forces are strong and fully prepared to respond decisively to any mistake they might make.

He indicated that security is established from the border to the heart of the country, asserting that his country will eradicate any covetous eye on its territory.

Meanwhile, Iranian authorities announced the end of the temporary closure of their airspace and the gradual return of civilian air traffic to normal since dawn on Thursday, following the lifting of the nighttime flight ban that had been imposed for several hours. A number of aircraft were observed heading towards the country’s airports, including Tehran’s airport.

Data from the flight tracking website Flightradar24 showed that a number of aircraft began entering Iranian airspace immediately after the temporary closure notice ended, indicating the resumption of air traffic after a brief, unavoidable suspension.

Iran had previously issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) closing its airspace at night to most civilian flights, with the exception of aircraft with special permits. This led to the suspension or rerouting of a number of international flights that use Iranian airspace as a major transit corridor between Asia and Europe, according to aviation sources and airlines.
