A massive funeral procession was held in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Wednesday for the martyrs who died at the hands of rioters.
The huge public turnout at this funeral follows the massive demonstrations that took place in various Iranian cities the day before yesterday, in which Iranians declared their support for the leadership and their rejection of the violence and rioting orchestrated by the US and Israel.
This comes as Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday that its forces are at their highest level of readiness to confront any aggression against the country. The Fars News Agency quoted the IRGC’s Aerospace Force commander as saying, “Our forces are at their highest level of readiness to confront any aggression,” adding that Iran’s missile stockpile has increased since last June.
