Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance Bloc MP Ihab Hamadeh stressed that Lebanon will remain steadfast in the face of all external threats
In a local ceremony on Wednesday, MP Hamadeh said that righteousness, strong relationship with God Almighty, and a pure national project are the guarantees for achieving victory.
He noted that the he Lebanese people have provided a unique example of shared sacrifice throughout history.
He indicated that what happened in the Iranian Revolution in 1979 was not a military coup, but rather a popular choice for the rule through a genuine referendum.
In this context, the Hezbollah lawmaker said that putting the Islamic establishment in face of the Iranian people now “is a suspicion promoted by Western media empires.”
He warned against projects aimed at distorting Lebanon as a state and its borders, and turning it into a part of the so-called “Greater Israel.”
“Anyone who seeks to achieve this project, whether via official channels or media will fail to extract even a single grain of sand from the Lebanese territory under occupation. The history has proven the ability of the Lebanese to protect their country despite more than forty years of challenges.”
MP Hamadeh, meanwhile, warned that American influence in the region, represented by the administration of President Donald Trump, “poses the greatest danger.”
He affirmed that Lebanon will remain steadfast, and that the Lebanese people will foil all conspiracies thanks to their will and adherence to their national and religious principles.
“Wise Man Doesn’t Rely on False Promises”
For his part, another member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance Bloc MP Hussein Jishi emphasized that the resistance did not arise in vain, but rather after the state failed to fulfill its duties.
In a local ceremony, he pointed out that it liberated the land, expelled the occupation, and repelled aggression in various Lebanese regions despite all the challenges, and that this history is witnessed by all Lebanese.
MP Jishi stressed that the capabilities of the resistance and its practical successes have proven its ability to deter.
“The wise person is the one who maintains his capabilities and strength in light of US bullying and Zionist criminality, and does not rely on the false promises of the international community.”
Turning to international politics, MP Jishi criticized the Trump administration, pointing to its blatant interventions in Venezuela and its full support for the Israeli enemy in its aggression against Lebanon and Palestine.
He affirmed that attempts to impose guardianship and hegemony on countries and peoples will fail in the face of the will of the resistance and its people.
