Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi welcomed his Lebanese counterpart, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and his accompanying ministerial delegation in Baghdad on Sunday, Iraq’s state news agency “INA” reported.
According to Iraqi government spokesperson Haider al-Aboudi, the two prime ministers will hold bilateral talks followed by an expanded meeting with ministers overseeing cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding cooperation in the fields of development and energy, and addressing regional and international issues of mutual interest.
