Several Explosions rock southern Saudi Arabia early on Saturday, in an apparent retaliation by Yemeni Armed Forces to Riyadh’s aggression on Yemen’s Hodeidah late Friday.
Media reports said more than 5 explosions shook the city of Jizan, southwestern Saudi Arabia. Following the attack, columns of smoke rose in Jizan and power outages were reported in several areas of the city, according to the reports.

There were also reports of massive explosions in the Saudi port city of Yanbu, the city of Dhamad, and the Khamis Mushait air base, south of the Kingdom.

Arab sources reported that Jeddah Airport suspended its flights after the Yemeni attacks.
Flight tracking stations reported chaos in flights and the inability of a number of planes to land at airports in southern Saudi Arabia.
Saudi authorities issued directives prohibiting residents and residents of the country from photographing “sensitive centers” and publishing their images.
Saudi Attack on Yemen
Earlier on Friday, Saudi Arabia has launched strikes on Yemen’s Hodeidah. Yemeni Foreign Ministry announced the attack, warning it will prove costly for Riyadh.

“By targeting Hodeidah, the Saudi regime has made ‘escalation for escalation’ the defining feature of the coming phase,” said the Foreign Ministry.
Yemen’s Beirut-based Al Masirah TV said the strikes targeted facilities belonging to the telecommunications authority. The outlet also reported strikes in Kamaran Island.
