The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced Tuesday that it carried out a new wave of missile and drone strikes targeting US military infrastructure in Kuwait and Bahrain in ongoing retaliatory attacks.
In a statement, the IRGC said the attack targeted “a long-range radar site, a communications center, satellite receiving systems, and a missile defense radar of the child-killing US army stationed in Kuwait,” adding that the facilities were “hit by missiles and drones and destroyed.”
The statement added that “a MQ9 drone hangar was also hit at the Ali al-Salem base, and a number of drones were destroyed or completely damaged,” as part of what it described as the second phase of the 24th wave of Operation Nasr-2 (Victory-2).
The IRGC said the operation was conducted “to repel obstacles to extensive air and missile operations,” vowing that “the punishment of the aggressor will continue.”
Meanwhile on Tuesday, Iranian Army released video showing operations targeting three important American bases in Kuwait with destructive drones.
Bahrain Strike
Hours earlier, the IRGC Aerospace Force announced similar strikes in Bahrain, saying it had “created a dark night for American radars and air defense systems in the region.”
According to the statement, an American radar and defense system in Al-Muharraq were “completely destroyed and removed from the operational orbit,” while a Patriot air defense system in Al-Rifa’ was struck in a “simultaneous missile and drone attack and destroyed.”
The IRGC said the operation aimed to “pave the way for future extensive operations and remove obstacles to accurately hitting targets,” reiterating that retaliation against the United States would persist.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Army released footage of the strikes targeting US forces’ positions at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain by Arash drones.
The strikes come in response to US aggression against its territory, including ten consecutive nights of aerial assaults targeting civilian sites.
Iranian armed forces have since launched a series of retaliatory attacks against strategic American positions across West Asia.
