Israeli occupation forces incurred several villages in the southern countryside of Quneitra on Monday and established a military checkpoint west of Saida Al-Golan, Syria’s state news agency SANA reported.
A convoy of seven Israeli military vehicles entered the area through the Tel Abu Al-Ghithar gate, according to SANA which added that five vehicles advanced toward the village of al-Razaniyah, while two others deployed west of Al-Hanout.
The forces later set up a checkpoint west of Saida al-Golan, where they stopped and searched civilians, as drones were seen flying overhead, the report added.

In a separate incident on Sunday evening, Israeli forces shelled the vicinity of Abu Rajm farm, affiliated with Saida Al-Golan, firing four artillery rounds that landed in nearby agricultural land without causing casualties.
Earlier on Sunday, Israeli occupation forces advanced into the village of Eastern Al-Samdaniyah in the northern countryside of Quneitra, while also shelling areas near the town of Al-Hamidiyah.
For months, southern Syria has witnessed recurring Israeli incursions and attacks, including raids, searches, arrests and the establishment of military checkpoints.
The activities intensified following the fall of Bashar Al-Assad’s regime in December 2024, after the Israeli regime declared the collapse of the 1974 disengagement agreement and seized control of the Syrian buffer zone.
