Ghalibaf: Iran is Facing Terrorist War, It Will Respond Painfully

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf announced today, Monday, that “90 million Iranians from various components stand united against foreign intervention,” during his speech in front of the millions who gathered in the Iranian capital Tehran to support the Iranian leadership and condemn violence and riots.

Ghalibaf addressed US President Donald Trump, saying, “We are the people of Imam Hussein (AS). Come see what will happen to the US bases, ships, and forces in the region.”

Ghalibaf added, “What we’ve seen of violence and brutality in the past days is revenge from the Iranian people of all backgrounds.” He continued, “We are facing a terrorist war by the enemies of the Iranian people, so our response will definitely be decisive and painful.”

In this context, Ghalibaf affirmed that “the people foiled the plot targeting Iran,” noting that “today, all the people came out and confirmed that the situation is under the control of security forces.”

Ghalibaf said, “We thank God that the Iranian nation has never allowed the enemy to achieve its goals,” pointing out that “the Iranian nation is fighting a war on four fronts: economic, ideological, psychological, and military, and today a terrorist war.”

Iran’s capital and the various provinces witnessed on Monday million-man marches protesting recent foreign-backed riots and demonstrating support for the Islamic establishment.
