Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam offered his deepest condolences to the family of the late school principal Esperanza Ghandour, and to all the residents of Nabatieh and its educational community, following her martyrdom in a condemned Israeli airstrike.
He said: “In these painful circumstances, I reiterate the necessity of upholding the ceasefire and initiating a complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory as soon as possible. Our priority remains supporting the resilience of our people in the South, ensuring their safe and dignified return, and working to restore life to their schools, institutions, and public facilities.”
