MP Fadlallah Categorically Denies Any Hezbollah Presence in Venezuela

Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary bloc, Dr. Hasan Fadlallah, affirmed that the positions of some officials within state institutions constitute a political and media echo of Israeli attacks on Lebanon, warning against internal attempts betting on an Israeli war to achieve projects that have failed since 1982 and seeking to revive illusions that were defeated with the Israeli project back then.

MP Fadlallah made these remarks during his participation in a ceremony honoring martyr Hussein Abd Reda Hamza “Kamil” in the town of Jmayjma, South Lebanon.

Hezbollah Lawmaker stressed that the presence and strength of the resistance stem from its people and national partnership, affirming that the authority changes but the state remains, and the resistance is an essential part of it.

MP Fadlallah categorically denied claims about Hezbollah’s presence in Venezuela, considering what’s being spread as fabrications and lies aiming to mislead public opinion and portray what happened there as a loss for the resistance. He clarified that what happened represents an attack on a state’s sovereignty and a loss for international law.

Hezbollah parliamentarian emphasized that Hezbollah has no organizational, financial, security, or military presence in Venezuela, noting that the party’s ties are normal diplomatic relations through the Venezuelan embassy in Lebanon, along with the presence of Lebanese expatriates of various sects.

Regarding internal affairs, MP Fadlallah stressed that the Resistance foiled occupation projects and protected Lebanon for decades, preventing the occupation of the south and reaching Beirut in the last war. He noted that the resistance’s sacrifices handed over the land to the state, but the latter wasn’t up to the required responsibility of protecting citizens from ongoing Israeli attacks.

Hezbollah lawmaker affirmed that Lebanon implemented its obligations under the ceasefire agreement, while the Israeli enemy continues violations, attacks, and occupation. He stressed that any additional steps or concessions before the enemy fulfills its obligations are rejected, as experience showed every concession leads to more blackmail and aggression.

MP Fadlallah concluded by affirming adherence to national peace and internal stability, calling for national cooperation and reviving state institutions and rejecting attempts to drag the country into strife or division. He also stressed that the resistance and its allies remain part of the national equation, and any upcoming democratic process will confirm their cross-sectarian popular presence.
