The Iraqi religious reference Sayyed Ali Sistani called for documenting the crimes committed by ISIL terrorist group especially those which targetied the Yazidis in Sinjar, the Christians in Mosul and the Turkmen in Tal Afar.
Receiving the head of the UN team tasked to investigate and collect evidence on ISIL crimes, Karim Khan, and the legal expert, Nicole Khour, his eminence stressed that ISIL crimes resemble those of the Nazis and must be documented in order for the whole world to learn about the seriousness of the terror approach.
Sayyed Sistani also called on the international community to help the Iraqi government to cope with the consequences of the terror war, including aiding the refugees to return home and launching rebuild projects.
