Israeli occupation forces have conducted multiple raids and incursions in the occupied West Bank, leading to intense clashes with determined local residents defending their homes.
One of the first targets was the town of Silwad, located east of Ramallah. Israeli forces forcefully entered the town and proceeded to ransack the homes of several residents.
Meanwhile, in the town of Hableh, south of Qalqilya, an infantry force from the Israeli occupation launched a raid, prompting local residents to take immediate action. They barricaded the town’s entrance by setting tires on fire in an attempt to prevent the Israeli forces from entering.
In a striking act of resistance, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades – Qalqilya announced that its fighters had launched an attack on the “Zufim” checkpoint, situated east of the city. Using a locally manufactured improvised explosive device (IED), they targeted the checkpoint, further escalating the tense situation.
The IOF continued their raids, this time targeting the town of Beit Amr, north of al-Khalil. Several homes were raided, leaving residents fearful and on edge.
The series of raids reached a boiling point at the Shuafat refugee camp in occupied al-Quds, where locals fiercely confronted the Israeli occupation forces attempting to invade the camp in the early hours of dawn.
Violent confrontations also erupted during a raid on the town of Beit Iba, located west of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. Palestinian media outlets reported that Israeli occupation forces carried out raids in various areas, with confrontations breaking out as Palestinian youth bravely confronted the incursions.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a young man was admitted to the hospital for injuries sustained during an assault by IOF troops in the town of Rujeib, located in the north-central West Bank. The occupation forces conducted extensive raids in Rujeib, targeting not only residential areas but also specifically going after doctors and employees.
Violent clashes between Palestinian youth and the occupation forces were also reported in the town of Qasra, south of Nablus, during an Israeli incursion. Reports further confirmed a raid taking place in the town of Beita, south of the city. Additionally, Israeli occupation forces arrested two young men at a military checkpoint near the village of Qusin, west of Nablus.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Barta’a, situated south of Jenin. Later, they withdrew from a raid on the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin, due to the intense confrontations that ensued during their initial incursion.
The confrontations between Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces have also spread to the city of Qalqilya, where homemade explosive devices were utilized against Israeli forces in the town of Azzun, located east of the city.
