Israeli occupation army revealed yesterday that one of their soldiers had been killed and three others were left seriously injured during intense battles with Palestinian factions in the northern Gaza Strip. The soldier, Reserve Sergeant Yaakov Ozri, fell during the fierce clashes, while a soldier from the Golani Brigade and two from the Paratroopers Brigade sustained severe injuries.
This incident marks the 36th soldier killed during ground battles in the Gaza Strip and brings the total death toll since the beginning of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” last October 7 to a staggering 349 occupation soldier.
The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported just yesterday that the number of Israeli and foreign individuals killed since October 7 has reached approximately 850, with over 7,262 Israelis injured.
These alarming numbers have raised concerns within the Israeli occupation military, as Hamas political bureau leader Ismail Haniyeh suggests that the reported losses may not accurately reflect the true extent of casualties among the occupation forces.
Haniyeh emphasized strongly, “What the Qassam Brigades learn and what they publish about losses among the ranks of the occupation is much greater than what is announced and will shock him.”
The reality is that the Israeli army’s death toll in Gaza battles already comprises about a quarter of the total casualties from the 2014 war, one that stretched over a month and a half.
As the Palestinian resistance factions continue their relentless assault on Israeli occupation military personnel, the situation grows increasingly dire.
The Israeli media is rife with apprehension about what the future holds, especially as they attempt to advance in the Gaza Strip while facing fierce resistance fighters who have proven they can strike with deadly precision.
With the Palestinian resistance inflicting heavy losses upon the Israeli forces, Yedioth Ahronoth warns its readers, “We must know that the feeling that struck us on October 7 will return again in the coming days and weeks, due to the fighting in Gaza.”
The Zionist aggression on Gaza has so far claimed more than 10823 martyrs and left 26,000 injuries. Since the Palestinian Resistance launched its Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, the Israeli criminal arsenal has not halted its assaults on the innocent civilians in the Strip.
