The first Iraqi oil shipment unloaded on Saturday its remaining cargo in Al-Zahrani electric facility in southern Lebanon, which will increase the power supply gradually.
On Friday, the Iraqi ship unloaded pat of its cargo in Deir Ammar electric facility in northern Lebanon, knowing that the two facilities had been about to stop generating power due to the lack of diesel oil.
Lebanon and Iraq had concluded an agreement according to which the former provides medical services in exchange for one million tons of fuel oil from the latter.
