Amid the exacerbating living conditions in Lebanon, several Lebanese cities witness cutting off their main roads in a way that has blocked the public life in Lebanon.
In this context, protesters cut off Beirut-Sidon highway, positioning trucks and cement blocks in Al-Jiyyeh, Al-Naameh, and Khaldeh areas.
Beirut-Bekaa highway has been blocked as protesters in Alay cut it off, disrupting the traffic flow.
Roads within the cities, including Beirut, Tripoli and others, were cut off, according to media reports.
President Michel Aoun, who chaired on Monday a security meeting at Baabda Palace, stressing that incidents where roads were cut off go beyond right of demonstration to be considered organized acts of sabotage.
